I have to admit that I’ve likely had sex on every piece of furniture in my home (so HA to all of you who have sat on my cushions), and yet, even with this saucy history, I am bleakly aware that nothing in my loft is worth even close to a million dollars.
Recently, my gf and I got into a discussion after discovering that someone paid $28 million dollars for this chair…it’s the “dragon chair” from the posthumous auction of Yves Saint Laurent:
It’s fine and everything but I was thinking….I don’t want to get gross here…but I don’t like used furniture, even though I have owned it. Why? Because I’m thinking that if people have done what I do on it…I don’t want it. The gf said that most people are not as disgusting as I am. Perhaps this is true.
What are your thoughts about buying used furniture or having people sit on furniture that you’ve…um…”used?”
