Count me in. Charlize Theron is known for her pro-woman, risky role selection and this film seems to be no different. The Burning Plain seems to be a movie worth standing up and taking notice…and not just for the great breasts. According to the Times Online, Charlize states of her role “this woman is so self-destructive that her body means nothing to her.” It was, as always, a challenging role to take. She is executive producer as well on this particular film….and after watching her craft herself so well in Monster, I am wondering what she is capable of when also behind the camera as well as in front of it.
The movie will deal with a lot of difficult and intense content. Charlize stated that it is often far more difficult for her to be emotionally raw on film than physically exposed, ““She is addicted to sex and to cutting herself because these are the only moments in her life where, for split seconds only, she doesn’t think about her tormented past.”
I look forward, as always, to seeing what this woman can do. Sure, the naked scenes will rock, but her emotional capabilities can just transport you. I wouldn’t put it past a company to leak these naked pictures in the film just to get us chatting it up. The Burning Plain is due out in September of this year.

OK, to say that LOOOOOVE her would be an understatement. I wanted to have a list of people with my gf that if we ever met her we could cheat with that one person, that we would NEVER ever actually meet. I was going to make Charlize my one dream come true freebie but my girl wasn’t having it. Then SHE ran into her in the airport! Ahhhhh!!!! Some girls have ALL the luck.
