I love it when normal, everyday people surprise middle-america and come out of the closet. Cheers to country singer Chely Wright, for coming out as a gay woman. The story broke in many places, but you can read more about it on msnbc.com. She’s 39 years old, talented and pretty hot. Though she reports hiding “everything” for a very long time, I’m glad to officially have her on the team. Welcome to life, Chely.

I, for one, am actually excited to hear about this. Normal celebrity outings mean nothing to me, but Chely Wright seems to have struggled with the same things I struggled with- being born into country middle America.
