Playing on a lesbian soap-opera type show with your Mom is challenging work. On a recent interview with Liz Feldman…Clementine Ford reported that the most traumatizing part of her acting on the L Word thus far was when her real-life Mom had to “walk-in” on her naked and having a sex scene with Shane. We have to agree, acting or not acting, being naked in front of your Mom takes guts…and a little crazy….but we want to say Cheers to you, Clementine, for making it official.
…..and to Cybill Shepherd, who has been a pretty awesome and accepting Mother by report. Clementine told Liz, that her Mom never cared who she brought home – male or female, and Cybill has been quite an active gay rights advocate. In a recent interview with metroweekly.com, Cybill talks about holding the Human Rights Campaign Banner on a March on Washington, speaking out for the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and being open to the possibility of being with a woman if the right one came along.
