While Oprah announced the new addition to her family (a new cocker spaniel, Sadie), Gayle King announced that her 14-year old cocker spaniel, Spencer, is gay. Here’s the report from Gay News Blog:
“Specifically, King said that her dog was “gay and deaf.” “How do you know that your dog’s gay?” asked guest co-host Mark Consuelos, looking puzzled. “He’s very girly,” explained King. “He’s very, very girly. There’s no doubt.” “And we mean that in the best way,” Oprah added.
So, this is all starting to make sense to me now. You think all gay men are girly? So you must believe the stereotypes about gay women as well…which tends to keep people deeply closeted. Look, I don’t know if Gayle or Oprah is gay, but if things haven’t looked suspicious to you, you haven’t been paying attention.
