Nerdy girls are hot, no doubt about it. But it seems their wonderful obsession with spelling and grammar might be causing them to be way stressed out. If you are a self-admitted nerd, or you are dating one…please read this bit of news…
According to MSNBC.com, it seems that with the recession, people are getting meaner and pickier…and some of our efforts to control our surroundings takes the form of grammar control. They say that when we are under stress already, we have less tolerance for minor frustrations. Here’s a good example:
Angela Nickerson won’t go to Krispy Kreme because of the Ks.
“I confess, I’m a spelling, grammar and punctuation snob,” says the 35-year-old travel writer from Sacramento, Calif. “And I won’t patronize businesses with misspelled signs. It’s like hearing fingernails running down a chalkboard.”

My career requires me to be a grammar snob. When I’m not working, I dun give a fuk!
Although that above sign would have been corrected by now, even if I had to personally hand correct it.
