Okay, here’s the scoop. Tammy wrote an entry in her blog yesterday that seems like it says pretty plainly that Melissa is cheating. Then…she deletes it.

well here she sits the truth eating at the flesh like acetone to fake nails

we can all find reasons to leave the soulmate and find another marriage gets messy life gets dirty
love gets dusty especially if you refuse to garden it but yes a soulmate is only a soulmate
when you keep your soul involved and treat the other one like a mate

Melissa is not/did not cheat. Melissa told her she wants out of the relationship because she needs something more than Tammy is able to give her. Tammy is a nutter.
I read that one before she deleted it and it’s so sad. I hope they’re able to work it out.

Melissa has a history of cheating, thats something that doesn’t change. Melissa appears to be over all the “learning” she experienced during her cancer bout…. as well as the “loyalty” paid to her by Tammy. Time always puts the experiences associated with stuff like that at a distance where it becomes nothing more than a distant memory that happened to someone else. I am sad for these 2… specially Tammy who most likely got caught up in the rebound melissa was on from Julie….
Tammy is a hottie…. she will survive just fine.
I agree that Tammy will be okay, but she is a tad emotional and moody (to put it mildly), but with that being said, she didn’t deserve to be cheated on. Melissa recycles the same ole whining tripe and if she didn’t have her lesbian fans, she would be still be singing in coffee shops and dives. I am a lesbian and can’t stand her music, but then again, I can’t stand a lot of music that’s labeled “gay” because it’s shitty music (and without the support of the gay crowd, it would not be going anywhere except into the nearest trash can). I remember my girlfriend and I watching Melissa on a talk show a few years ago, blathering about special recipes she used to adjust the chemical inbalances in her body (something about ph and alkalinity levels???). Yeah, it’s called homeostasis and your body does it all by itself. My girlfriend is a doctor and we were laughing our asses off. Hopefully, Tammy gets over this “bump in the road” and has learned to not get involved with celebs. Most of them are misguided, egotistical idiots. What comes around, goes around and Melissa has set herself up for some serious karma clearing. Ouch!
Hey people does anyone remember Ferron who is a beautiful lesbian singer song writer and a beautiful soul. Ferron was on Rolling Stone back in the eighties and she chose not commercial fame but her own way in music and she is brilliant and to me was way a head of her time and before Melissa Ettheride . I suggest people check out Ferron ‘s music and you will be amazed and she is in a long time stable relationship with a woman she loves for many years now and you can check out her web site and e mail her directly she loves to hear from her fans and I’m a huge Ferron fan. “Girl on the Road” a great song about her and her life and read her biography. Ferron is one amazing singer song writer and a good influence on lesbians in relationships and she is just a wonderful soul. Sincerely Kate
Oh! Yes I do remember Ferron and heard she was touring for a while and did get to see the documentary last fall at the Portland Oregon Gay and Lesbian film festival and I agree she is an awesome singer/songwriter and she is a very beautiful soul who is very down to earth and I heard she gives writing workshops in Michigan where she lives with her long time partner. I remember her very well and you are right Kate Ferron was on the cover or Rolling stone magazine and was way before Melissa and she chose a different musical path and I really do love her music. The film documentary “Girl On The Road “was great. Ferron is an artist that is worthy of respect and love from all her dear fans. She is truly a legend in her own right.

You summed it up! I use to love Melissa Etheridge – I thought she was such as role model when I was a teenager but as I grew up and I began to watch her in the spotlight and read her interviews and that stupid, tell-all book, where she sells out all of her family and friends, like kd lang, I realized she is just a poser and a greedy attention seeker. I think she is only out for money and thats all she cares about!
I hope karma hits her hard one of these days! She is just a fake!
Checked out Ferron, never heard of her before, but that doesn’t mean anything. :) I guess I was referring more to bands like Betty, Beth Ditto, Scissor Sisters…hmmm, a bunch come to mind, that are absolutely horrible. I listen to music because of the what it sounds like and quality too. Never been one to listen to/support an artist/band just because they happen to be gay. I’ve never been a fan of Melissa’s music either, although my girlfriend used to be a big fan. So now she has two sets of kids with two different women, and has moved on to the next one. ??? She’s certainly not young. Who knows/cares what her deal is? I’m not big on Oprah either…she seems to be more of a venue for nut jobs to gush on about the latest craze. Plus she’s gay and won’t admit it.

and people break up everyday… how about going and psychoanalyzing people you actually know instead of ones you only know through the media… have we learned nothing in our lives? you don’t know someone just because you have seen them in the public eye all of your life… i think they are both wonderful women and both are entitled to follow their own path reguardless of what you think… again this is something that happens everyday. Stop talking petty shit about people and get a life… what’s the big deal? as long as they put their kids first i don’t see what you are all bitching about… my parents divorced when i was about 5 and i will tell you i was much happier that they divorced and moved on to make themselves happy as opposed to screaming at each other all day and fighting all the time…
i also USED to love me some Melissa…..BUT… i think now her speak truth line is all BS. Actually when her music lost its rock edge and every song she did was a antham for some cause or another she lost me. And i figured it was getting close to the end for her career when now all she was playing was casino’s and now is hawking her new CD on QVC…..WTF?? sounds like a monkey trying to grind out every penny she can.
Relationships are work..plain and simple…. i think she really does want one….but she gets bored easily… and is in love with the idea of being in love.
Revenge is sweet for Tammy I bet. Melissa and Bowersox and Melissa getting blindsided by Crystal’s marriage to a man. What goes around comes around eh? Melissa is such a fool who needs to learn how to cultivate “grown up” love instead of falling for the blind adulation of a younger “muse” who I’m sure strokes her ego but has no interest in Melissa other than her career. Good for Tammy who’s stayed true to herself and doesn’t give a shit about her “image”.
Oh my. Just reading about Melissa’s foolishness gives me the feeling of schadenfreude.
