Kate Moennig’s show was canned. Sorry girls. She was all set to play Dr. Miranda Foster in the medical drama “Three Rivers,” which was unfortunately cancelled. Supposedly, she was going to play a surgeon with a bit of a temper.
Now, she’ll have to be mad, all alone.

I wonder if she will successfully be able to break out of the typecast “Shane” / lesbian role?

I agree with Amanda. I was so excited to see her play another role but was put off by her slightly awkward, femme-y hair/straight girl look. I think she looks HOT as a lesbian and “ehh” as a straight chick.
