L Word Dance Party? Best/Worst Moments.

by Jul on March 3, 2009 · 5 comments

I’m starting to get the feeling that the L Word writers are bagging out before the series is actually over – after all, there is one more episode? There were, admittedly, some memorable moments in the show…

Bette wins for best quote, when she quipped “Nice Camel Toe” to Alice. Oh so many times I wish I could say that outloud to people. Walking down the street in summer, I run into the ol’ toe a few too many times. Admittedly, Tasha’s line of “I’m in a turqoise onesie for you” takes a close second.

Arousal Interruptus Award: Though usually Tina is not sexual to me at all, Bette’s little dance routine was going just fine for me until Dillon interrupted by touching Helena. Dillon is like kissing an anteater, so basically…game over when that moment hit. Thanks Dillon.

Uninteresting Award: Kit and her new man. Though, points for the piano dress.

Overall, the show was “eh.” I did enjoy the “Push it” performance, but didn’t understand why Alice had to stay in costume for most of the show. Then again, if I had the opportunity to wear that outfit, I would still be wearing it right now.

I loved the “Push it” show! But, I felt really tense about the whole thing because Alice knew that her girl was totally into someone else.

I would never be with Tasha anyway, she’s too uptight, and no fun.

I think I’m the only lesbian in the world without cable. I have to wait for it to be released on DVD and then watch it in a marathon of L Word episodes, cookies and sex all in a 24 hour period. Booo. But I’m sure this post will come rushing back to my mind when I finally do get to watch the episodes!

I just want to put it out there that it was not a piano “dress”. If you caught one of the several nice ass shots they showed without throwing up in your mouth, you would have noticed it was actually a flowy, spandex pants suit.

Touche Jul. But what can I say…I like my woman like I like my coffee: thick, black and alcoholic.
