Hot Chicks: There are some things more important than money.

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is a very lucky man. He once stated some pretty nasty (but arguably true) things about Rosie O’Donell, one of them being how terrible it would be to be her partner Kelly…because she has to kiss that face every night.

I know this is a lesbian blog…but gheesh, the guy’s got a point. Kelly, obviously had no comeback…I mean, look who the guy sleeps with…

What the Donald is banging…Melania:

Who Kelly is banging, Rosie:

Rosie always seems a little unkempt to me – she always looks sloppy. Like she needs to shower. I don’t base that on anything…just an opinion….and when you’re going “downtown,” it’s important to be clean, you know.

Melania on the other hand? Sign me up.

…clean, smooth, with melons from the Gods. If only that dress wasn’t so darn conservative.

That was pretty harsh. What a way to stick up for women. Is it necessary to stoop to the level of the Donald?

I always stick up for women of all sorts…note the posts on Carnie Wilson, on women who are disabled, and women in hijabs who competed in the olympics from Egypt.

I do, however, think that sometimes famous lesbians are not without criticism. They’re human too. If women and men are to be equal, then they face equal criticism as well as praise.

Women of all sorts can be beautiful and delicious. I just have a “clean” requirement. I’m just kind of “fussy” that way.

I agree with you–everyone can be up for criticism. I just never heard a jab about being “unclean” from anyone past elementary school. This isn’t character criticism, it’s juvenile.

If you want in-depth character analysis: Here’s an attempt – It is strictly opinion/conjecture with no factual basis. She appears to have poor impulse control (note her disastrous talk-show with Tom Selleck, her continued problems on The View, and her reported inability to maintain cordial relations with her magazine staff might be cited as evidence). She also appears to have difficulty maintaining basic hygeine. At times her hair for public appearances appears unwashed, greasy, and her clothes appear unkempt. Although a clear advocate of gay/lesbian families and individuals, she is, in my opinion, a poor spokeswoman for the cause. I would rather someone be thoughtful, well-spoken, and clean. Rachel Maddow, Ellen Degeneres, Margaret Cho, etc..and I would certainly rather they be clean for any type of sexual relationship – which is what was being referred to above. If you like your girls a little “dirty,” hey, that’s cool…everyone has their thing.

See how boring that is compared to the pictures?

Being a lesbian doesn’t mean you have to be serious 24/7. In fact, for many people who read this site, I would assume that being gay is difficult…difficult at work, with parents, in their community, etc…and sometimes they could use a good laugh.

So absolutely, we’re juvenile…unapologetically so…because if we’ve gotten just one girl out there to share a laugh who’s been teased at school, or shunned by her friend….if we’ve gotten just one girl who feels badly about herself to smile and feel a little better….then we’ve done our job.

You don’t have to agree with us…and we hope people will always debate…but think about what lies beneath it all. For the untrained observer, we’re like a bunch of adolescents…but there’s a purpose, and we think that’s wicked cool.

Thanks for your thoughts, Maya

“because if we’ve gotten just one girl out there to share a laugh who’s been teased at school, or shunned by her friend….if we’ve gotten just one girl who feels badly about herself to smile and feel a little better….then we’ve done our job.”

I understand if that’s your purpose. It’s a noble one. I just posited that perhaps making fun of an overweight, unattractive-according-to-mainstream woman in order to then highlight the beauty of Trump’s wife, in fact doesn’t make anyone feel better, but makes those who have been made fun of feel worse.

I’m not trying to be contentious, I just think that the effects of calling Rosie unclean and disgusting might hinder your attempt to make women (at least, average women) feel good about themselves. It’s cool to be fun and light and adolescent at times, I just thought, to use your words, that maybe you should think about what lies beneath it all.

I appreciate your comments and do enjoy your site.

Maya –

Please note that sometimes, we all think people are unattractive. Rosie was never criticized about her weight. That’s not what makes her unattractive – at least in our opinion. If you’ve been reading for a while, you’ll note that we think Queen Latifah rocks it…she isn’t a small chick, but I think she could toss me around, and that’s cool…even though she seems closeted.

There are a lot of people who are unattractive…Rosie, in my opinion is one of them…but so is Tara Reid, etc.. Both sloppy, both a mess…it has little to do with weight.

If someone feels badly about themselves because they are dirty and sloppy…I encourage them to clean themselves and take a shower. It does wonders for your dating life……

….just think of how many women we’ve helped by this discussion alone? No one wants to go down on a chick that hasn’t showered…well, maybe some, but not many.

I agree with Maya. You may not be attracted to Rosie, but saying that she is unclean is kind of low (and do you have to sexualize everything?) Melania kind of makes me wanna barf in a different way, so…
