I have to be honest with you. I’ve never liked Miley. I don’t know what the big deal is about her, and I think she’s a big phoney. This, however IS a big deal.
Tmz.com recently showed this above photo and reported that advocacy groups are stating:
“The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent…”
We couldn’t agree more. Message to Miley: Get a brain.

I agree that to an extent it was a joke however, I understand how it could be offensive especially coming from a public icon that in todays society, is worshipped and looked highly upon. I think people need to seriously stop taunting others whether they’re black, white, asian , latino. just because of their phenotype, culture or religious beliefs. The thing people don’t* understand is that this type of act opens the doors to hatred. Acts like these doesnt even make people wonder why, others wont accept or take asians seriously – its course of the types of people that we have representing the asian community.
