Here’s a pic of Cynthia Nixon and her gf. I don’t know if she was always a lesbian, but she seems to have gotten on the right path at some point in her life…and she’s not alone….a recent article referenced at GloriaBrame has found that more women are discovering the awesomeness of lady-lovin’ in their middle years. Accoring to the article:
“Anecdotal evidence suggests that more women are coming out after age 40 than ever before — a reflection, most likely, of changing times and attitudes.
Among women in their 50s who were living with another woman, more than half had left straight, married life behind; that percentage jumps to a whopping 75 percent for those age 60 or older. Finally, 42 percent of the respondents in a recent MORE.com poll reported knowing one or more women who came out as gay or bisexual at age 40-plus. And nearly a third of our respondents, gay or straight, found themselves attracted to another woman for the first time at midlife.”
Who can blame them?

I was the world’s straightest girl.
Good little wifey and mommy.
Still a good mommy I hope.
I turned just a few years ago, when I turned 30.
Two single dates with older women, both ended in bed.
Then a solitary relationship that lasted over a year and hurt so much when it ended.
Now, I date women, but it doesn’t go beyond holding hangs or kissing.
It’s Pat! From SNL! I always wondered what happened to him/her/it.
Two of my friends (in different towns) are lesbian. One of the girls at work is 100% into women as well. Can’t say though that I went for it all out, but certainly have considered it, but only with the right woman: the chemistry just has to be there or it’s not going to work.
