In a new advertisement for “Declare Yourself,” a site about the importance of voting, Jessica Alba steps back on the scene and back into our head. The motto says “only you can silence yourself.”
People magazine is reporting that the advertisement is “shocking”..and while I “get it,” it seems a little silly…I mean, how could I silence myself with this black duct-tape? Maybe the point of the ad is that Jessica will come to your house and wrap you up in tape if you don’t vote….which, in that case…..I’ll be lighting candles, having a glass of wine, and doing it up for an election night to remember.
