It still sucks to be a gay person in America, especially a gay married person – that was one clear message of the debate.
Yes, the candidates seemed to have an awkward moment of agreement that the term “Marriage” should only be defined between one man and one woman. While Palin slammed us from the right in her statements that she doesn’t want marriage redefined, Biden slammed us from the left when having a beautiful opportunity to set his campaign apart. He was asked openly whether he believed in same-sex marriage, to which he said “no.” However, on the upside, it seems both candidates also agree that we should have “rights.”
