Rarely are celebrities able to see outside of their self-absorbed bubble to help the common chick. Well, it seems that one woman is stepping up to the plate…Joan Rivers. According to the Advocate, her performance on October 12th in San Diego will donate a portion of all sales to fight Proposition 8 – the proposition that wants to stop you or I from getting hitched in California.
So, cheers to Joan Rivers. She might be made of 98% plastic-based materials, but she’s still got it going on…I mean, come on, it is a nice rack….and if it’s dark enough, maybe?

I wish more of the entertainment world would do things like this. I’ve always enjoyed Joan and learning this only confirms it.
