Every now and again it does happen…I go soft. Now, it’s not in my pants, but in my huge throbbing heart. This couple (unlike Tila Tequila) really is one of the reasons for the passage of same-sex marriage in California. They’ve been together for 55-years, have been activists at a time when such a thing was downright dangerous, and finally were married at the ages of 87 and 84 respectively.
To Del Martin, and Phyllis Lyon – the first couple officially married in California…we salute you. Congratulations. I hope I can still get down at your age.
