Kelly Ripa’s 1st Annual High-Heel-A-Thon was held in Central Park to benefit the March of Dimes, with the winner bringing home $25,000. Not bad.
Maybe I’m a schmuck, but walking great distances in heels is challenging sometimes…running in them…impossible. It is a feat of great athletic prowess….or just oddly overdeveloped calves. Whichever way, I’m all for it being the next great spectator sport.

Kelly’s words of wisdom in a recent AP interview: “women never wear heels for men, we wear heels for other women”
