In a precedent-setting event on BET, Ciara allegedly stated “I’m gay” to millions of viewers….finally clearing up rumors that have been going on around her orientation for a while. This was an internet rumor, but we’re hoping that it’s true. There are more rumors that she is bisexual.

Either way, it looks good. Even P-Diddy allegedly reported after the announcement that, “Tonight it’s homosexuality, next its tranvestites, tomorrow it’s something else.” It kind of makes me like the guy. 

As for the status of her recording career? It’s uncertain. She’s built her reputation on the wagging tongues of millions of teenage guys out there…or so they say…here’s hoping there’s also enough girls to keep her afloat, and that the audiences begin to judge on things like, you know, talent.
