Tajah Burton is alleging a lesbian affair with Rihanna in a new tell-all book that you can see more about here. Now, I know that usually these are a piece of crap, and not always accurate…but in this case, I’m sure it’s absolutely spot on. I mean, Rihanna? Of course. Who didn’t see that one coming.

I know, it’s not funny…but it seems that often the media thinks every lesbian looks like me – white, relatively girly and not so bad off. I’m glad to see that Sundance has found a new representation getting good reviews. “Pariah” is getting nods for being a realistic character portrayal of a young girl discovering her identity. I hope it takes off, and plan on seeing it.

For those of you who are unaware of the craziness…it seems that the new show “Skins” is getting a lot of flack for showing a young girl hooking up with another chick, saying it may violate child pornography laws. I don’t remember these complaints when Dawson’s Creek was aired…then again, was that even sexual? Bye the way, the actress who plays Tea is 18 years old…not a minor.

It’s official! No, unfortunately, she’s not a lesbian aunt in real life, but she’s seemingly overjoyed to play one on television. Anne Hathaway will be joining the cast of Glee for a guest spot as a lesbian aunt to Kurt.
..and if that isn’t enough to make you love her, she’s actually quit the Catholic Church after her brother came out as gay…saying “Why should I support an organization that has a limited view of my beloved brother?”

Sure, she can rap like a mom on fire, but she’s crossed a line. Starting a rumor about yourself being a lesbian, for attention, is the oldest (and lamest) trick in the book. I mean, there are some of us who “are” sexy, and some who have to try to start rumors to “be” sexy.
Clearly, she is the latter. If you want to start a rumor, Nicki, about having sex with Rihanna, the least you could have done is actually hook up with her once or twice. Gawker reports that Nicki wants to be sure no one thinks she is ACTUALLY a lesbian…because, you know, THAT would be “ridiculous.”
…besides, if you want to really see a female rapper on fire, watch Amanda Blank. That chick will blow you away. Here’s a taste:

After dating Kanye, Amber Rose has apparently decided to try something new and actually hot. According to the Mail Online, Amber was spotted kissing music video model, Rosa Acosta, after having a nice dinner for two. Clearly, she’s moved up in the world.

Sure, she’s a hot country gal, but coming out wasn’t exactly a career making move. In a recent interview, Chely Wright disclosed that since coming out in May 2010, her album sales have dropped 50%, and she’s actually gotten death threats.
I’m not sure why a singer can’t just be valued for her music…are people really buying her records because they picture her having sex with men?
Kudos to Chely Wright for doing the brave thing, even when it hurt her career. So, if you’re into country, buy a CD of hers (even though we all know that you download all your music free illegally).
Myself, I’ll be buying a poster – and it’s none of your business what I do with it.
